Fire Safety

Fire Safety Management provides valuable service in the following areas:

1. Fire and life safety code interpretation, inspection and enforcement on new and existing buildings on campus.
2. Fire extinguisher inspection, maintenance and training
3. Inspect and report deficiencies on fire hydrants, PIV’s (Post Indicator Valves), FDC’s (Fire Department Connections) and fire sprinkler valves.
4. Help Investigate fires on campus
5. Help with special events needing fire coverage
6. Work with the local fire department in preplanning and implementing training opportunities on campus.
7. Oversee and track the progress with campus fire drills, red tag permits and hot work permits.
