American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
Types of certifications we facilitate:
Basic Adult CPR/AED and First Aid
Basic Adult CPR/AED
Basic Adult and Infant CPR/AED and First Aid (coming summer 2025)
All certifications are offered through the American Red Cross certification program.
Cost:
CPR/AED and First Aid is $30
CPR/AED is $26
The cost for the in-person class must be paid for prior to your scheduled session. This is an American Red Cross fee and cannot be waived. Students must pay at the Cashier's Office located at the ASB (main floor) or through Cashnet. If the student is a BYU employee and their department is paying, the employee does not pay at the Cashier's Office but instead needs to let the instructor know when they come to the in-person session.
If you are paying the certification fee for yourself, pay it at Cashnet or at the Cashier's Office. Please save a physical or digital receipt of payment.
American Red Cross will email you a link for the online portion of the certification to the email you provided at sign-up. You must take and pass the online test prior to attending the in-person class.
Bring a physical or digital copy of the certificate of completion from the online portion to the in-person class.
In-person Class
The in-person class will be held in the Risk Management Building room 105 at 795 North 500 East on the BYU campus. Please plan on the class taking approximately 1.5 hours.
Large Groups
If you need to have a large group or department certified, please contact Risk Management at 801-422-4468 for a private class.
