DSC - Driving Safety Class

Who is required to take the DSC Class?

This course is offered to BYU students or employees who:

  1. Receive traffic violations
  2. Were involved with automobile accidents (with BYU vehicles).
  3. Are employed for a department desiring driving training

What will I learn in the DSC Class?

  1. Safety Features in Vehicles (Anti-lock Brakes, Airbags, etc.)
  2. Backing Safety
  3. City and Highway Driving Safety
  4. Common Hazards of Utah Driving

How can I get information on the DSC Class?

National Safety Council Four Hour DSC

Who can take this course?

This class is for anyone desiring a nationally recognized certified Defensive Driving Course.

Why should I take this course?

The course can decrease insurance costs.

The course is taught once a semester and once in the Spring/Summer if enough participants sign up.. Call 422-7881 to find out when the class will be held.
